How to upload pictures to a Samsung Frame TV

You do not need an Art Store subscription to show your own photos. The Frame can import them through the SmartThings app or from a USB drive.

Upload photos with SmartThings

  1. Open SmartThings and select your Frame TV from the Devices tab.
  2. Open Art Mode and choose Add Your Photos.
  3. Select the images from your phone, then choose Save on The Frame.
  4. Select a saved image to display it, or use the available slideshow options.

Upload photos from a USB drive

  1. Connect a USB drive containing your photos to the One Connect Box.
  2. Put The Frame into Art Mode and open My Collection.
  3. Select the USB drive, then select Save.
  4. Choose the images and select Save Selected to import them.

Show local photos with PictaCast

If you prefer a local slideshow from a computer instead of importing photos to The Frame, connect a Chromecast to an HDMI port.

Can I use my Samsung TV as a photo frame?

Yes. The Frame can display imported personal photos in Art Mode. For a computer-controlled slideshow, connect a Chromecast and use PictaCast to cast a local photo folder to the TV.

How do I upload pictures to my Samsung Frame TV?

What resolution and aspect ratio do I need for Samsung Frame TV photos?

How do I add photos to Samsung Frame TV from USB?
