How can guests add their photos to the wedding slideshow?

While PictaCast doesn't host a photo upload portal directly, you can easily use it alongside shared folders. Set your venue laptop to watch a Google Drive or Dropbox folder. Give guests a QR code to upload photos to that folder. PictaCast will automatically detect new photos arriving on your laptop and show them on the TV.

Do I need internet access at the venue?

You need a local Wi-Fi connection for the laptop and TV to talk to each other, but it doesn't need to have active internet access. A travel router or mobile hotspot works perfectly for barn or outdoor weddings.
